The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field or a foreign academic equivalent.

In addition, the position requires 2 years of experience with Java/J2EE, AWT, Swing/Applets, HTML, Servlets and JSP. Strong knowledge of midrange application design and development including design and development of Logging Architecture also required. Excellent written and verbal skills and proven ability to foster client relationships required. Wage Offer: $ 65,000.00 per year/full-time.

Design and implement disaster recovery solutions software. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and conduct performance tuning for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) backup and recovery on Windows, Linux, AIX, SUN, HPUX, and Novell servers involving SAN storage environment. Setup and configure TSM servers in cluster LPAR modes and utilize IBM ATL Libraries and drives. Design and implement optimal storage area network (SAN) solutions. Implement and support proprietary products, including EMC (Clariion, Symmetrix, DMX); IBM (DS4200, DS6000, SVC); and SAN switches (McData, Brocade, EMC Connectrix.) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Applications, Engineering, or related field + 2 years experience in the position described above.

Position requires a Masters degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a closely related field. In lieu of Masters, a Bachelors degree in same plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience is acceptable.

The position also requires 6 or more years of experience in the IT industry including project management, project management life cycle, systems requirements, EMC Solution Architecting, technical writing, implementation, feasibility/opportunity/impact investigation and analysis, cost benefit, high level systems design, Disaster Recovery and Backup, Capacity Plan, and Account Management. Candidate must possess 3 or more years of EMC Clariion Series, EMC Mirror view, SANcopy, Snapview, Boot from SAN (Qlogic & Emulex), EMC PowerPath, HBA configuration (Emulex & QLogic), Brocade, McData and Cisco connectrix manager switch Management, Sun Solaris. Knowledge of Symmetrix DMX 800,1000.3000 series, EMC Solutions Enabler -SE, EMC Symmetrix Management Console - SMC, EMC Control Center (ECC) 5.2, EMC TimeFinder Family, EMC SRDF Family required. Provide senior level support in analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of computer systems, databases and programs.
